Being a role model Leadership Merit 1

I was a great role model when I was delivering the i pads for Mrs Ward because one class I went to was room 23, but their teacher wasn't there yet, I didn't just muck around and maybe think that I could just go to the playground to wait. I was a good role model and waited there patiently with the others in room 23.

Technology Leadership Merit 3

Today was my first time doing cooking! I was showing leadership because I helped clean the dishes once we had finished our hangi's, I showed resilience by waiting in line to put the food in the tin foil and trying new things because I had never tried a hangi before. We also learned about Kiwiana foods.

Getting involved Leadership Merit 1

Today I was getting involved by going to the basket ball with the rams and even though I don't play basket ball I tried it out. I also got involved by doing flips on the bars at tech. Today at the basket ball we did a couple games. We had to choose a partner and I chose someone I don't really well, I was collaborating with different people.

Kapa Haka Leadership Merit 1

On Friday I did kapa haka, We changed the moves a bit, I enjoyed it because I love singing AND dancing, I would have done choir but in kapa haka you get to dance as well as singing and lean about another culture. The moves are a bit confusing because everybody just does the old moves and forgets about the changes.

Peer mediation Merit 2

Today I did peer mediation with Elizabeth and Jack we walked around for about 20 minutes and then our duty was over but today we didn't really get to help anyone I mean we did but it was really quick to solve. But it wasn't really an issue it was just one person got the ball in and the other one got knocked out by that ball, so the person was sad. And then once we had finished peer mediation I had ICT, so this lunchtime wasn't the best PLAYTIME for me but these ARE my jobs!

ICT Leadership Merit 2

Today I got to do ICT, in the morning I had to untangle chargers, read what class they were on the label, then deliver them to the class on the label. I showed leadership because I didn't want to do this job but I asked to do this job so I have to do it, like it or not! At lunch the ICT monitors did a HUGE job! We had to take the cases of about 200 i pads and then scan what class they were AND THEN deliver them to the class. I was a bit annoyed though because I was going to play a really cool game with my friends but I have to do this! (and it helps that Anneke is a ICT monitor because shes my friend and then I have someone to talk to)
